The Gallery

The Gallery is located at 316 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Downtown Los Angeles continues to evolve as one of the most culturally layered neighborhoods in the city. Hidden storefronts, creative studios, and design-forward spaces define its rhythm. It felt fitting that Majestic’s newest DTLA photo booth installation would debut inside one of the most interesting concepts in the area, The Gallery.

Tucked discreetly into Downtown, The Gallery operates less like a traditional barber shop and more like a creative collective. The space spans three levels. The first floor houses the appointment-only barber studio. The second level features a curated vintage retail experience. A third level nail studio is currently in development. The result is a constant flow of artists, stylists, collectors, and creatives moving throughout the space.

This installation was not just about placing a booth. It was about aligning with a cultural hub in Downtown Los Angeles.

A Gold Frame Photo Booth Debut

The Gallery location marks the debut of Majestic’s new gold frame. Designed as an elevated framing option, the gold structure introduces a warmer architectural presence compared to our classic finishes.

The metallic frame complements the industrial concrete interior of the barbershop and gold framed barber chairs, while adding a refined contrast against the dark curtains and studio lighting. The booth feels intentional inside the space. It does not interrupt the design language. It enhances it.

This new gold frame option is available on a limited basis as an upgraded offering for clients seeking a more design-forward aesthetic. For those familiar with our Downtown placements, this evolution builds naturally from installations like Florentin in DTLA, where architectural integration is just as important as guest interaction.

Why DTLA Matters

A DTLA photo booth installation carries a different energy than other parts of Los Angeles. Downtown is dense. It is layered. It is cultural.

The Gallery hosts private gatherings, community events, and creative meetups. The booth becomes part of that movement. Guests flow from haircut appointments to retail browsing to studio events, and the photo booth becomes a recurring moment inside that journey. Downtown Los Angeles thrives on identity. A well placed photo booth does not function as a novelty. It becomes part of the venue’s architecture and social fabric.

Our broader Los Angeles installations reflect this philosophy across the city, but Downtown continues to be a priority neighborhood for culturally aligned placements.

Design Forward Integration

What makes this DTLA photo booth installation unique is not just the gold frame. It is how the booth interacts with the environment.

The industrial floors, exposed ceilings, geometric lighting, and studio chairs create a backdrop that feels intentional in photographs. The custom black and white photo strips reinforce the aesthetic while keeping the design clean and timeless. As Majestic continues to expand in Downtown Los Angeles, projects like The Gallery represent the direction forward. Design first. Cultural alignment second. Seamless integration always.
