The screen on this booth says Life Moves Slower Here.
We did not write that. Libertino did. Here is our new venue placement partnership with Libertino Cafe.
The café wrote the screen
Almost every photo booth on earth opens with some version of the same sentence. Insert payment. Press to begin. Smile. It is functional copy, it is written by whoever built the machine, and nobody has ever read it twice.
The touchscreen on our booths is fully customizable and most venues leave it alone, which is fair enough. It is a small surface and there are bigger decisions to make. Libertino, on the other hand, took advantage of that screen.
So the first thing you see is the café's line, in the café's script, and our instruction sits underneath it in small type where it belongs: insert, tap, or swipe to begin.
That ordering is the whole point. The machine is not greeting you. The café is.
It is also a slightly funny thing for a photo booth to say, which is why it works. A booth is a fast object. Three poses, a few seconds apart, done. Being told life moves slower here on a machine that is about to count down at you is a joke the room is in on, and it sets a tone before anybody has touched anything.
If you run a venue and you are specifying a booth with us, this is the cheapest good idea available to you. The touchscreen journey costs nothing extra to write and it is the only part of the booth that speaks.
What we built
Brushed silver panels in a toned aluminum frame, with LIBERTINO CAFÉ running vertically down the front face in the café's own type. Deep chocolate velvet curtain on grommet rings, and a chocolate grid floor plate with MAJESTIC set into it.
Underneath it is our Classic booth, specified to the room rather than picked off a list. Leveling feet, print slot in the lower panel, help code beside the screen.

Why it is a placement
Libertino did not buy a photo booth. It went in through our Venue Placement program.
No capital, no hardware on the café's books, and nobody behind that counter thinking about paper, ribbon or a jam on a Sunday. We designed it with them, they approved the direction before production, we installed it, and we run it. Monitoring, maintenance and service sit with us. They give it floor space, power and a good spot, and it earns more for the café the better it does.
It also came with ninety days to prove it belonged. If a placement has not shown the value we agreed, we optimize it, move it, or take it out.

Where this sits
In Miami it joins our booths at Las' Lap and The Sylvester, both of which are nightlife rooms. A daylight café is a different kind of placement entirely.
It belongs with our coffee work elsewhere too, at Blue Hour Coffee in Milwaukee and Radio Rosewood in Austin. Three cities, three very different rooms, and in this one the thing worth copying is not the finish. It is that somebody wrote the screen.
FAQ / Common questions
Where is the photo booth at Libertino Café? 220 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127
How many photos do you get? Three poses, two prints. One to keep and one to give away, in color.
Did Libertino have to buy the booth? No. It went in through our Venue Placement program, which means no capital outlay and no hardware on the café's books. We design it with them, build it, install it and run it.
Who maintains it? We do. Monitoring, maintenance, paper and service sit with Majestic.
Can we write our own welcome screen? Yes, and more venues should. The touchscreen journey is fully customizable and the headline is yours to write. Libertino is the best example we have of a venue using it.
